Mattresses are the single most common thing people call us about, and the most annoying thing to deal with yourself. They don't fit in a car, most buildings won't let you leave one by the bins, and Metro Vancouver doesn't allow them in regular garbage — they have to be recycled.
We take mattresses and box springs of any size, from cribs to California kings, out of houses, apartments, basement suites and storage lockers. You don't need to wrap it, move it, or get it downstairs. That's the job.

WHY YOU CAN'T JUST PUT IT IN THE GARBAGE
Metro Vancouver restricts mattresses from regular disposal, so they have to be routed to a recycling facility that strips them down — the steel goes to metal recycling, the foam and fibre are reprocessed, and the timber frame is chipped. We handle that routing for you. It's also why an unwanted mattress left in a lane usually ends up as an illegal-dumping fine for whoever owns the property.

MATTRESS DISPOSAL QUESTIONS
Do I need to wrap or move the mattress?+
No. Leave it where it is — bedroom, basement, storage locker, wherever. We carry it out, and we bring our own protection for hallways and elevators if the building needs it.
Can you take a mattress from an apartment?+
Yes, and we do it constantly. Tell us the building when you book and we'll sort out the service elevator and loading bay window with your building manager rather than turning up and finding the bay full.
What happens to the mattress?+
It goes to a recycling facility, not the landfill. It's dismantled and the steel, foam, fibre and timber each go to their own stream.
Do you take bed bug mattresses?+
Tell us up front if there's an infestation. We can usually still take it, but it has to be bagged and handled separately so we don't carry anything into the next customer's home. Being honest about it costs you nothing; not mentioning it means we may have to refuse on arrival.
