Renovation waste is the category where people most often get caught out at the transfer station. Metro Vancouver bans several common materials from regular garbage — clean wood, cardboard and gypsum drywall each have to go to their own stream — so a mixed trailer load can come with a contamination surcharge attached.
We take post-renovation debris by the load, sorted properly, from single-room refreshes through to whole-house gut jobs. Contractors use us between phases so the site stays workable; homeowners usually call us once at the end.

IF THE BUILDING IS PRE-1990, READ THIS FIRST
In BC, renovation or demolition work on a building constructed before 1990 requires a hazardous materials survey before the work starts — asbestos was common in drywall joint compound, vinyl flooring, and pipe and duct insulation well into the 1980s. We cannot take suspected asbestos-containing material, and no legitimate hauler will. If your building is that age and you don't have a clearance report, get one before you start demolition. It protects you and your crew far more than it protects us.

Can you do multiple pickups during a renovation?+
Yes, and for anything longer than a couple of weeks it's usually the cheaper approach — it keeps the site clear and avoids one enormous final load. We'll quote a per-visit rate.
Do you take concrete?+
Small amounts, yes. Large volumes of concrete, brick or soil are heavy enough to need a dedicated load, so tell us roughly how much and we'll quote it separately.
Can you come after hours?+
We run until 10:30 PM seven days a week, so evening pickups after the trades have finished for the day are normal for us.
