Electronics can't go in the garbage in BC. The province runs a regulated stewardship program, so TVs, computers, monitors and most consumer electronics have to go to certified recycling — which is good, because they contain both genuinely valuable metals and genuinely nasty ones.
We clear out single old TVs, office refits, and the cupboard full of cables and dead laptops that every household eventually accumulates.

ABOUT THE DATA ON YOUR OLD DEVICES
Anything with a hard drive — computers, some printers, network storage — holds data that survives a factory reset far more often than people expect. If a device stored anything sensitive, the safest thing is to physically remove the drive before we take it. We route devices to certified recyclers, but the only guarantee you fully control is the one where the drive never leaves your house.

Is there a charge if recycling is free?+
The recycling is free; the truck, the crew and the time are not. You're paying us to collect it and carry it, which is generally the part people want to avoid. If you have one small item and time to spare, you can drop it at a Return-It Electronics depot yourself at no cost — we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
Do you take old CRT televisions?+
Yes. The big glass tube sets are heavy and awkward and most people can't lift one alone, but they're recyclable and we take them.
Can you clear out an office?+
Yes. Office refits and end-of-lease clear-outs are routine — computers, monitors, phones, cabling and the furniture with it, in one pass.
